Book Rack



I made this Gustav Stickley reproduction for my daughter Lydia's 22nd birthday. The originals were in quarter sawn white oak, but I made her a night stand in cherry last year so this had to match. As you can see in one of the pictures she has been a fan of mine for a long time.

I've always admired the exposed through tenons and keys that lock them in place because of their elegant simplicity. I am currently making another one in curly maple.
