Balcony Railing

This is a railing I made for a balcony on a camp I renovated.





 

There are no screws or nails on this railing as all the pieces are locked together with joinery and glued together.

Book Rack

This is another book rack made with curly maple.

Kitchen Island

This is a kitchen island made with curly cherry. The customer had a dark brown granite top with a flat finish installed for the top. They tell me it is the centerpiece of their newly constructed home.

I made this Gustav Stickley reproduction for my daughter Lydia's 22nd birthday. The originals were in quarter sawn white oak, but I made her a night stand in cherry last year so this had to match. As you can see in one of the pictures she has been a fan of mine for a long time.

I've always admired the exposed through tenons and keys that lock them in place because of their elegant simplicity. I am currently making another one in curly maple.
